Viscosity Tube Demonstration Apparatus

A very easy and fun way to visually demonstrate and compare viscosity of four different liquids. The apparatus consists of stand which holds four removable clear acrylic tubes with rubber bungs on both ends, four steel balls 0.39inch (10mm) dia., and four magnets mounted in a plastic bar. The tubes are filled with liquids whose viscosity is to be compared and the balls are put the tubes and lifted by the magnets just above the line on the tube and then released. The time taken for the ball to reach the bottom is noted and compared. Liquids not included.
