Timer with Photogates

The Digital Smart Timer is a fundamental device used to precisely measure time in many kinematic experiments. It is designed to be used with air tracks, collision carts, and free fall apparatuses. This timer has a range up to 1000 seconds and a precision up to 0.0001 seconds. Data is displayed on a 4 digit LCD screen in units of milliseconds or seconds. There are seven functions this timer can perform. These functions include measuring acceleration, the acceleration due to gravity, velocity of colliding objects, and the period of objects in harmonic motion. The timer also has a "Count" function which can count the number of times an event occurs. The timer can be recharged and can be used with or without a power adaptor. Included with the timer are two photogates, an electromagnet, steel ball and all electrical cords. The manual comes with instructions on how to use the timer and descriptions of each of the functions. The Digital Smart Timer has everything you will need measure the times of kinematic experiments.
