Newton's Color Disc Wheel On Stand

A very effective demonstration that white is composed of 7 colors of the spectrum. Consists of a 6 inch (150mm) dia. wheel with three quadrants of the seven colors of the spectrum in wedges of violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange and red. When the wheel is set in motion they blend together giving a simulation of white light. The wheel is mounted on a pillar with wheel, which when rotated by hand spins the Newton Disc. The whole apparatus mounted on a heavy cast iron base, baked enamel finish.
