The Newton G-Ball is a fun outdoor device that students can use to study the effects of gravity. A digital timer is inserted in the center of the ball which measures the amount of time the ball is in the air. The timer begins when the button on the display is released, and the timer stops when the ball caught or impacts a soft surface. Students can throw the ball straight up, throw the ball horizontally, or let the ball drop to calculate the height, velocity or magnitude of gravitational acceleration. This is a fun way for students to master the concepts of gravity.

The ball measures 10 cm in diameter and takes 2 SR54 batteries (included) in the digital timer. The maximum drop for the G-Ball is 12 meters. Ball rest included.
