Learn about momentum, force, mass, velocity, and Newton's laws with this versatile car. Creates a visual measurement of impact created by collision against a stationary object. A spring loaded bumper rod extends in front of the car. The car is fitted with a linear scale and slide that is displaced on impact. The slide remains in its displaced position until reset. The student can takes direct readings from the scale to measure the force. The car is hollow and the top is removable so additional weights can be added. A small Phillips-head screwdriver will be required (not included) when removing the top of the car to add weights.
