Concept of Resistance. Supplied without Multimeters.
Concepts you always wanted to Learn, Teach and Prove about Resistance. In this kit our endeavor is to explain and prove by experiments the concept of Resistance and to prove the various laws governing resistance. All the important laws, concepts, definitions have been explained and experiments provided to prove those laws and concepts. Like Ohms Law, Factors Affecting Resistance length, cross-section, heat, Series, Parallel etc. Detailed Instructional Booklet provided. Performs 11 experiments. Comes complete with : 1 Rheostat, 4 Battery Boxes, Test Wires, 3 Resistance Coils, Alligator Clip Leads, 2 Candles, 1 Lamp Socket, 4 Lamp Bulbs, 1 Contact Key. ** Multimeters NOT included with this kit.
LABS THAT HAVE BEEN PROVIDED:
1) Does Resistance really exist, or it is just Bah Humbug?
2) To determine the resistance of a Resistance coil / Wire.
3) Verification of Ohms Law.
4) To verify that Resistance of a conductor depends upon the length of conductor, other factors remaining the same, cross-section, current, temperature, and material.
5) To verify that Resistance of a conductor depends upon the Cross-Section of conductor, other factors remaining the same, length, current, temperature and material.
6) To verify that Resistance of a conductor depends upon the material of conductor. In this experiment we will keep the length, cross-section and temperature for all materials same to prove the principle.
7) To verify that the Resistances of all pure metals increases on raising the temperature, and decreases on lowering the temperature. But, the resistance of alloys like constantan and nichrome is almost unaffected by temperature.
8) To verify the law of Resistances combined / joined in series. In the experiment we will show the visual effect of joining resistances in series.
9) To verify the law of Resistances combined / joined in series, by the voltmeter and ammeter method.
10) To verify the law of Resistances combined / joined in parallel. In the experiment we will show the visual effect of joining resistances in parallel.
11) To verify the law of Resistances combined / joined in parallel, by the voltmeter and ammeter method.
A preview of the included instructions can be found at the bottom of this listing.
