Blood Typing #11 makes it possible for students to learn blood typing principles without drawing a single drop of blood. Following detailed instruction in this kit, students of advanced biology, physiology, or biochemistry will use their saliva to determine whether or not they are among the 80 percent of the general population who are secretors. Those students who are secretors will then complete the laboratory exercise in order to determine their ABO blood type. The technique used in this experiment is an ideal demonstration of problem solving in science using inductive reasoning.
