Air Core Solenoid

Comprising of a coil of insulated copper wire wound on a plastic cylinder with two terminals. This device can demonstrate the concept of electromagnetic induction by moving an iron magnet through the coil back and forth to induce an electric current. In addition, an electric current through the coil can induce its own magnetic field. A voltmeter, multimeter, ammeter or power source can be attached to the terminals. Base dimensions 4.75 x 7.67 inches (12 x 19.5 mm).
